Aljex Software released Automated Rate Confirmation a digital document service that automates critical agreements and routine data exchange between brokers and carriers.

“At its core, an Aljex ARC is a self-dispatching web document that will change the way brokers and carriers do business,” said Tom Heine, CEO of Aljex.

ARC allows brokers and carriers to exchange digital documents with only the necessary information given. There is no competitive data, such as shipper names and contact information given out until the shipment is accepted and it is signed by the carrier.

The document can be signed electronically from a computer or smartphone and the signature is routed through the Aljex partner, Sertifi, an e-signature service. Sertifi establishes the identity of the signer and once verified the documents are legally binding.

A broker receives a PDF of the signed document and the confirmation is automatically uploaded into a scanned document directory. A link is sent to the carrier enabling them to access all the information on the ARC including pickup and delivery addresses, reference numbers and contacts.

“ARC provides the carrier with a single source for all the delivery information needed to accept a load, pick it up, deliver it and even send proof-of-delivery to the broker,” said Heine.

ARC is currently available to all Aljex Vision users.
