Diesel 2 Gas Deploys Fully Integrated Electronic Cruise Control

Diesel 2 Gas Inc.

Diesel 2 Gas Inc. announces the deployment of its electronically integrated cruise control. The feature allows a truck’s OEM engine cruise control to operate normally on dual fuel mode.

There are no additional controls, switches or mechanical actuators under the pedal. This is the first dual fuel conversion system to electronically integrate the cruise control with no parallel hardware.

Other dual fuel systems offer an accessory mechanical pedal actuator or separate electronic component to operate cruise control independently of the truck’s OEM system. The new cruise control is a standard feature on the D2G DualFlex+ dual fuel system.

The cruise control system was tested and first deployed on the Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine truck owned and operated by Bestway Express Inc. in Vincennes, Ind.
