Bringing the TireStat tire pressure sensor into the MobileTraq monitoring system gives Mobile Awareness LLC an integrated tire pressure maintenance system with in-cab monitoring and telematics capability.

MobileTRAQ Vue is an integrated and field upgradeable, commercial-grade monitoring and maintenance system designed to grow with fleets and changing industry demands. It is a flexible, asset-based monitoring system for both connected and stand-alone truck & trailer monitoring. Featuring an intuitive, programmable, color touch-screen display that allows the driver to see and hear warnings, the MobileTRAQ platform was developed to readily connect with Mobile Awareness wired and wireless sensors, the first of which is TireStat TPMS.

TireStat TPMS is a flow-thru tire sensor mountable inside the tire or externally on the valve stem. The TPMS sensors transmit data every 60 seconds to the MobileTRAQ monitor, with pressure and temperature events triggering the system to alarm in real-time. This rapid reporting is as much as five times more frequent than other TPMS systems. Mobile Awareness says the batteries in the TireStat sensor will last up to 10 years, and will function in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 257°F.

"Most fleet owners are realizing the value and the immediate return on investment that TPMS can provide," says Gary Rothstein, president of Mobile Awareness. "With more than three years of engineering and multiple patents filed, we set out to eliminate the limitations of existing monitoring systems. As a result, we are extremely excited to announce the first solution that protects a fleets' technology investment with both software-upgradability and expandable hardware features."

Designed and manufactured in Northeast Ohio, MobileTRAQ Vue integrated with TireStat TPMS offers the user unique early warning indications, as well as adjustable tire alarm levels. The fleet owner's investment is further protected since MobileTRAQ will provide feature updates and upgrades including voice enunciation, driver logs and inspection forms. The system comes with a 3-year warranty.

In early 2014, Mobile Awareness plans to add a wireless tread depth gauge and the SenseStat Obstacle Detection Sensor System to MobileTraq Vue.
