Freightliner In-Cab Training System

A new workout system, which drivers can be complete right in their cab was recently announced.

This system is specifically designed to help both trucking companies and owner operators to reduce the occurrence of rotator cuff and lower back injury issues by adding strength and stretching exercises to their pre-trip checklists.

Benefits also include the ability for the driver to get a full body workout including cardiovascular training without having to leave the comfort, privacy and safety of their cab.

Drivers who have never exercised before will have the ability to have a personal trainer in their cab through the FIT Channel.

Accessed through smartphone, laptop, or tablet computer, the FIT Channel guides users through workouts step by step and keeps them motivated.

This system was developed by Bob Perry of Rolling Strong and Sean Mohr of Any Body Fitness in collaboration with Dr. Josef Loczi, Manager of Engineering Strategy & Market Intelligence for Daimler Trucks North America.

This project was done in conjunction with Freightliner Product Development, Marketing, Research and Sales Teams.
