Falken Tires Shows Low Maintenance Concept at MATS

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY — Falken Tires displayed its Low Maintenance Concept here at the Mid-America Trucking Show, highlighting the development and production techniques it uses to improve mileage, wear, durability and low-rolling resistance.  

By concentrating on these four key areas, Falken saidit is demonstrating to MATS showgoers that its medium truck radials can help to reduce overall operating costs. The LMC focuses on longer intervals between tire changes, reduced fuel use, and better performance and uniformity to reduce driver stress.

“To explain it at the simplest level, our low maintenance tires help minimize downtime and keep trucks on the road longer with minimal hassle,” said Raul Garcia, Falken commercial tire product planning.

Falken Tires is also showcasing its full truck and bus radial lineup, highlighting the company’s four newest commercial truck products: the RI130 Ecorun for linehaul steer application;, the RI150 Ecorun for regional all-position applications; the BI830 Ecorun for linehaul drive applications, and the BI850 for regional drive, open shoulder applications.
