Double Coin’s RT600 and RR202 Meet EPA Requirements

Double Coin recently met the requirements for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s SmartWay Technology Program for its RT600 and RR202 tires. The SmartWay program verifies the performance of vehicles, technologies and equipment that have the potential to reduce greenhouse gases and other air pollutants from freight transport.

Both of Double Coin’s RT600 and RR202 meet the low rolling resistance tire performance criteria. The low profile, all-position RT600 features a five-rib design for improved handling, lateral stability and traction. The ultra premium highway service RR202 tire features standard and low profile sizes that fit a multitude of applications including long-distance buses and trucks.
