TravelCenters of America is offering low-viscosity, 10W-30 synthetic blend diesel engine oil at all participating 24/7/365 TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube truck service facilities.

Recommended for nearly all high-performance diesel engine types, 10W-30 is formulated to deliver a wide range of performance benefits over conventional, mineral-based lubricants and higher viscosity synthetic blends, including enhanced fuel economy potential, outstanding wear protection, and shear stability, as well as exceptional low-temperature performance.

TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube now carry Mobil Delvac Elite 10W-30, the latest addition to ExxonMobil’s family of Mobil Delvac-branded heavy-duty diesel lubricants. Shell and Chevron synthetic blends are also available. All brands will be available with preventive maintenance services, as well as for purchase in containers.

“We are pleased to now offer our fleet and owner-operator customers the 10W-30 semi-synthetic base oil option for their trucks,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. “In addition to helping with fuel economy, the 10W-30 has a longer life, which will save drivers time and money, and allow them more hours on the road,” he continued.

TA and Petro Technical Training Manager, Homer Hogg, shared a word of advice for professional drivers. “Although the 10W-30 synthetic blend can extend the time between oil drains, it does not extend other preventative maintenance measures, including complete lubrication service, and checking all fluids, belts and hoses,” he said. “Drivers should follow the complete preventative maintenance schedule to prevent heavy repair expenses down the road.”

All TA and Petro truck service facilities provide extended maintenance services designed to meet in-between-drain needs.

The TA and Petro Truck Service Network specializes in providing light duty repair, brakes, electrical, alignment, air conditioning, preventive maintenance, inspections and RoadSquad emergency road call services. More than 3,000 highly trained ASE- and TIA-certified technicians staff TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube locations, which offer 1,000 service bays nationwide. RoadSquad provides a fully staffed 24/7/365 emergency roadside service, with 450 service trucks located at TA and Petro Stopping Centers sites.
