Ridewell announced the expansion of the RAR-240 series of trailer air-ride suspensions. Now available for order are yoke mount suspensions designed specifically for use with Ridewell brand axles with Wabco PAN 22 air disc brakes.
The RAR-240 has a 25,000-pound capacity and 8- to 9.5-inch ride height.
The RAR-240 has a 25,000-pound capacity and 8- to 9.5-inch ride height.

The new suspensions can also be used with IMT's axles with Wabco Pan 22, 19, or 17 ADB, or Haldex ADB. Two new designs are available for order:

On one design, the yoke trailing arm beam allows the brake actuator to be placed under the tail. A critical benefit of this design is that no modifications to the trailer frame are required beyond those typically done for a standard RAR-240 yoke suspension. Also, no change to the normal frame transition geometry is required. This is compatible only with Wabco PAN 22 or Haldex ADB. This design is designated RAR-240 Part #2400209, with a 25,000-pound capacity and a ride height range of 8 to 9.5 inches.

On the second design, when brake actuator ground clearance and protection are critical, the newly designed yoke trailing arm has a banana beam that allows the brake actuator to be tucked between the beam and trailer frame. This design requires a more 'squared-off' frame transition to allow clearance for the actuator. This design is designated RAR-240 Part #2400210, with a ride height range of 6 to 7.5 inches, or RAR-240 Part #2400211 with a ride height range of 7.5 to 9 inches. Both have a 25,000-pound capacity.
