Topics will range from productivity improvement and costing strategies to driver development and retention.
Designed specifically to address some of the most critical issues affecting trucking in Ohio and throughout the country, OTU will explore new approaches in developing a driver career path within an individual company or the industry.

OTU, which will be led by industry and topical experts, will include a series of webinars and on-site group seminars.
It is tentatively scheduled to kick off in mid-November and will continue through the first quarter of 2013. Initial topics will include: Strategies for Cost Management and Improved Productivity; and New Strategies for Driver Development and Retention.
Attendees will receive usable tools as part of the program. These include course materials and manuals and computer models that can be adapted to fit specific company requirements.
