Bolt, an Internet-based dispatch and fleet management system, is integrating with Qualcomm's Circle of Service Workflow application.

"Our shared customers can now take advantage of enhanced operational efficiency and improved customer service," says Norm Ellis, vice president of sales, services and marketing, Qualcomm Enterprise Services.

"From the onset one of our primary architectural goals has been to make our fleet management software a 'plug-in' module for ERP Systems," says Jerry Robertson, CTO for Bolt. "The impact of transportation relative to product retail pricing and customer satisfaction is being carefully measured and questioned. The tight integration of Qualcomm's Circle of Service Workflow and Bolt's extensive database provide immediate corporate reports on quality, performance, and efficiency."

Circle of Service Workflow helps carriers capture and deliver crucial information as it happens and as it is needed. Features include a list of scheduled stops, as well as automated arrival and departure detection with latitude and longitude. Prompts and exception notifications help drivers reduce their dependence on back-office staff for key information.
