Alliance Truck Parts has added replacement stereos to its growing line of in-demand parts for class 6-8 trucks. Drivers can have quality sound and the convenience of a remote control.

The new Alliance Truck Parts stereo features an AM/FM receiver paired with an MP3-capable CD player, an auxiliary input on the front to easily plug in an MP3 player or portable satellite radio, and -- particularly convenient for sleeper cabs -- a remote control.

"Music for the road is a must. Our customers asked for a quality replacement radio designed for truck cabs and we listened," said Daniel Haggerty, director of parts marketing for Daimler Trucks North America LLC. "It's easy to install with its ISO wiring harness connector, and like all Alliance Truck Parts offerings, the new radio carries a one-year, unlimited mileage warranty."

The stereo features balance and fader controls, an easy-to-read display that shows track info, and clock, and the unit reads ID3 tag information to show MP3 track information. An 18-station memory preset allows easy access to favorite stations. Drivers can set the sound to their liking using one of the included sound quality EQ presets or adjust bass and treble output independently. The unit delivers audio with realism and clarity through a built-in amplifier offering 200-watts of maximum total output (50W x 4 channels) for plenty of clean volume without distortion.
