The Sendum PT200 allows TeleNav Asset Tracker users to monitor real-time location of assets from a secure, Web-based portal.

The Sendum PT200 is a portable, rugged tracking device that can easily be placed in packages, containers or mounted to assets such as machinery or vehicles. The device uses assisted GPS, a technology combining GPS satellite and cellular tower triangulation data. The device is also designed for extreme conditions, working in temperatures ranging from minus 4 to 140 degrees.

The device is powered by rechargeable, quick-change, high capacity lithium ion battery packs, and it includes battery level alert notifications. Other features include comprehensive reporting, a geo-fence function to report when assets leave or enter a defined area, integrated temperature sensor and power management.

"We believe the Sendum PT200 provides the precision and durability our customers require to use our TeleNav Asset Tracker software in their daily operations," said Ravi Acharya, associate director of B2B marketing at TeleNav.
