Mitchell 1's New Tool Shortens Repair Time

Mitchell 1, a Snap-on Company, has launched Repair-Connect, a new tool to shorten repair time and lower truck operating costs.
The new tool is part of the company's web-based service and repair programs, and

Repair-Connect speeds up the repair process by taking an experienced technician using Mitchell 1 programs directly to the service information he needs by simply inputting the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). Repair-Connect anticipates what detailed information is required to fix the vehicle based on the DTC and retrieves it in seconds.

The tool automatically pulls and clears DTCs through its Vehicle Communication Device or with the vehicle information entered manually. An easy selection menu helps users to quickly navigate the program, while digital photos provide detailed views of components involved with the repair. Repair-Connect also includes a "to-the-point" wiring diagram displaying just the wires making up a particular circuit. Repair-Connect will also provide the entire engine diagram when needed.
