New Pig has unveiled a more eco-friendly version of its Pig Universal Mat, which is now made with 50 percent recycled polypropylene content.

The Universal Mat is designed to clean up and absorb leaks, spills and drips. Available in size and weight for many different applications, the environmentally conscious version retains many of the same features of the original model, including its eight thermally-bonded layers, fine-fiber construction, dimple pattern, perforated design, flame-resistant feature and gray color to hide dirt. The mat is also highly absorbent, non-reactive and compatible with most chemicals, the company says.
