Jerr-Dan introduced the new Premium 6-Ton carrier bed, which it says is 50 percent stronger than most standard-duty carrier beds.

The deck's larger, roll-formed rubrails provide twice the structural strength of traditional angle iron rubrails. In addition, the weld process ensures a smooth outer surface. The standard 102-inch-wide deck features a full-length 10-gauge 50 ksi pressed-diamond decking for strength. The carrier bed is available in 19-foot, 20-foot and 21-foot lengths, and the standard low-profile, heavy-duty approach tip allows for easier loading and long life.

Underneath, larger 6-inch crossmembers offer improved corrosion protection and the larger hydraulic tilt cylinders increase lifting capacity and stability. The roll cylinder hydraulic routing uses more steel line for improved durability and better paint coverage.

The carrier bed has an optional wireless non-proportional remote control system for all functions. Other available options include a 78-inch-long x 21-inch-high x 20-inch-deep universal toolbox with stainless steel door covers, and a 10-head light bar using reflective prism technology that is 100 percent brighter than Jerr-Dan's current light bar.
