The WaveBox portable microwave is available for purchase across the United States via a new Web store.
Retail stores and other consumer outlets will carry the WaveBox later this year.

The WaveBox has the cooking ability of a conventional microwave in a design built for daily portability. A triple-power delivery system allows the WaveBox to run off a standard AC outlet, the 12-volt power socket in most vehicles, or by direct connection to a 12-volt battery. The WaveBox has swappable AC and DC cords for standard AC, the vehicle power socket or direct battery connection. No inverter is necessary.

The WaveBox original has a sculpted, lunchbox-style design and reinforced, weather-resistant ABS case. It also has a luggage-quality handle, electronic controls, LED display and presets for one-touch heating.

The microwave comes with the CoolBag - an integrated soft-side cooler that fits snugly inside the microwave to keep food and drinks cool until you're ready to heat them up. The CoolBag has a water-resistant nylon cover, thermal lining and a durable zippered lid.

WaveBox brand portable microwaves provide cooking space that accommodates a wide variety of foods, such as sandwiches, soups, frozen meals, popcorn, pizza slices and ready-to-eat convenience foods. Cooking performance is comparable to many in-home microwave ovens. The power outlet function is only designed for vehicles rated at 20 amps or higher, the standard for most newer vehicles. The WaveBox is available in four colors: pearl, cherry, cobalt and midnight.
