The TLC Companies, a professional employer organization, has begun offering a new service for its clients called ValuScreen.
Services have been available for quite some time for direct hires, but the owner-operator marketplace has been a relatively foreign screening territory until recently.

"Being able to provide crucial background information about owner-operators has helped fill a big void for our customers," said Ardell DeBerg, TLC Companies CEO. "Our ValuScreen research team digs deep into the past of potential owner-operator drivers our clients are considering, assuring they meet DOT qualifications. Our goal is to help assure potential drivers are reliable and trustworthy."

This new service program, offered exclusively to TLC Companies customers, includes:

• Past employment verifications for the last three years
• CDLIS, MVRs for all states in which they had ever been commercially licensed
• Nationwide criminal reports
• Nationwide sex offender registry searches

According to DeBerg, the ValuScreen process is usually completed in 24-48 hours.
