IPD, a manufacturer of heavy duty diesel and natural gas engine parts, introduced IPDNet, a new online-based service and support system for its network of IPD distributors.

The new system can be accessed through the company's website and offers search features including live parts availability, net pricing, and electronic cataloging, with links to many useful technical service articles.

"We are excited about this new system and feel it will greatly enhance our distributor's efficiency and reaction time in servicing their end-user customers. The first release will be geared to North and South American and Asian distributors. Within a few months all our distributors serviced through the company's European and Australian Customer Service Centers will also be able to use this new service, said Steve Scott, IPD director of product development and technical support."
