OTC released the new 5195 Wheel Stud Remover/Installer Kit, designed to allow shop technicians to quickly remove and install wheel studs, calipers or axles on virtually any Class 7 or 8 vehicle wheel hub.
No threaded adapters are needed with this patent-pending design. The installation is done by pushing on the head, allowing technicians to remove and install studs without removing the hub from the vehicle.
The kit is packaged in a blow-molded storage case, and includes a large C-Frame with forcing screw, one set of installation adapters, two separate adapters for removal, an extension adapter for increasing the range of travel, and power thread lubrication.
