New digital software lets buyers of over-the road trucks and other large vehicles to see exactly what their prospective purchases will look like in almost any color and under almost any light condition.

Bunkspeed's patent-pending Hypershot software is based on a "photon mapping" technique. This technique is used to create computer-generated effects used in a variety of digital media. By combining Bunkspeed's object rendering technology with color matching technology from DuPont Performance Coatings, buyers can see accurate representations of what the "real thing" will look like.

Bunkspeed's digital technology offers advantages over traditional materials such as printed brochures and paint chips.
