Rostra Precision Controls Inc. now offers its RearSight back-up camera system for the 2007 Toyota Tundra. The system features a camera that mounts directly to the truck's tailgate latch in the same manner as the optional factory camera.

It was designed for easy installation utilizing the factory harness and connectors. The Rostra RearSight system features a 0.5 Lux shrouded CCD camera, an Electronic Auto Iris, an anti-fog lens and a waterproof case.
In addition to the camera, the RearSight kit comes with a 3.5-inch TFT rearview mirror/monitor, which replaces the OEM mirror and also utilizes the Tundra's factory pre-wiring. The screen has three video inputs and brightness adjustment, and the mirror features an anti-glare tint.
"Our Tundra RearSight is especially useful for work truck and fleet owners because it can help those drivers better navigate construction sites or avoid backover accidents when hauling large objects in the truck bed," said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts for Rostra.
Headquartered in Laurinburg, N.C., Rostra supplies speed-control systems, rear obstacle sensing systems, transmission components and comfort seating systems to the global automotive aftermarket industry. For details, call (800) 782-3379 or visit
