Ancra International has developed a line of 7mm cargo strap winches it says are lighter than winches with a 9mm frame but every bit as strong.
Ancra International has developed a line of 7mm cargo strap winches it says are lighter than winches with a 9mm frame but every bit as strong.
“By heat treating a thinner, lighter frame, we maintain the same strength, WLL ratings and load capacity as our 9mm winch” said Tom Knox, Director of Engineering for Ancra’s Cargo Division.
“Less weight equals more ROI” said Jim Calico, executive vice president of Sales and Marketing for Ancra’s Cargo Division. “With a 30% reduction in weight over similar 9mm winches, our new line will be a great addition to our already high quality line of winches and will certainly be appealing to the operator looking to improve fuel efficiency."
