Penske Truck Leasing has opened a facility in Neenah, Wisc., at 2301 American Drive. Financial terms of the facility were not disclosed. Situated on 4 acres, the 11,000 square-foot structure provides full-service truck leasing,commercial truck rental and contract maintenance services.

Mack GuardDog Connect Adds Telematics to Its Engine Monitoring System

Allentown, Pa.--Mack Trucks today announced GuardDog Connect, a telematics system that executives said will speed servicing and enhance dealers’ ability to fix trucks correctly on the initial visit. Connect adds cellular connectivity to the existing Mack GuardDog maintenance monitoring system, and will begin going onto on trucks built in January.

Tampering attempts have become more desperate and damaging since 2002, when exhaust-gas recirculation equipment first appeared on diesels, and 2007, when particulate filters were required.
