Multiple Lawsuits Filed Against Navistar Over International MaxxForce Engines

Lawyers for trucking companies have filed lawsuits in three states against the parent company of International Trucks, claiming Navistar failed to disclose known defects and problems with its EPA 2010 MaxxForce engines.

Navistar Recalling More Than 16,000 2008-2013 Model Trucks

Navistar is recalling 16.107 model year 2008-2013 International LoneStar, ProStar, and TranStar trucks manufactured Feb. 20, 2008, through July 29 of this year, that are and equipped with an electronic fifth wheel jaw release system.

Navistar Recalling More Than 7,700 Trucks

Navistar is recalling more than 7,700 2012-2013 International ProStar and TranStar commercial trucks, manufactured from August 1, 2011, through July 10, 2012, that are equipped with front brake linings listed as feature codes 0504501, 0504504, or 04EWM. The brake S-Cam tube bracket assemblies made by Meritor on the steer axles may fracture.
