Meritor Sells Mascot Brand to Investor Group

Meritor has sold its Mascot operations in Canada and the United States to an entity that will operate under the name Mascot Industries LLC. All other Meritor brake and trailer axle remanufacturing operations, as well as Meritor's distribution business, are not affected by the sale and will continue to operate as usual.

133 SuperTech Competitors Ready for Testing, Organizers Say

Geroge Arrants, a long-time leader in the SuperTech program (left), and Michael Meredith, this year’s Professional Development chairman, say that a crew of supervisors and judges from fleets, suppliers and technical schools are ready to test 131 technicians beginning Monday.

Organizers of TMC's SuperTech competition in Orlando, Fla., say they are ready to test 133 top technicians from across the United States beginning Monday. High scorers will emerge after two days of pitting their skills against pre-arranged flaws in 25 different areas of truck diagnostics and repairs, with the winners announced at a lunch on Wednesday.
