Penske Truck Leasing has opened a new facility in the Birmingham suburb of Alabaster, Ala., that offers maintenance for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, among other services.
Located at 185 Airpark Industrial Road, the 8,480-square-foot facility also provides full-service truck leasing, consumer and commercial truck rental, and contract truck fleet maintenance services, Penske said. The facility includes two truck service bays and a wash bay, a single-lane commercial truck fuel island that also provides bulk diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) dispensing, and wireless technology that can connect technicians to truck diagnostic and analytic software
Penske will hire several new truck maintenance technicians and management trainees to staff the location, the company added.
