Vehicle modifier Blossman Services Inc. will produce a Ford Transit van powered by propane autogas and available in January, the company announced.

The Blossman Transit will use a 3.7-liter V-6 engine conversion kit, and operate as a bi-fuel vehicle with a Prins VSI fueling system. EPA certification is expected to come in January. Blossman will install 21 gallons of propane tank capacity that won't compromise cargo capacity, according to the company.

This Transit will be the first bolt-and-plug vehicle from Blossman Services, the managing member of national clean vehicle and fuel provider Alliance AutoGas. The Ford Transit conversion will go into testing this month.
