The Senate's version of a $34.5 billion bill to authorize the Federal Aviation Administration does not give FedEx employees collective bargaining rights under the National Labor Relations Act
, according to reports by the Journal of Commerce.

The House version of the bill was passed in October 2009, which included language that would change the jurisdiction of FedEx employees.

The bill now has to be reconciled with the House version, and the new bill will take the place of an FAA authorization that has been extended several times, the JOC reports.
