The retail price of diesel fuel continues to fall, as the Energy Information Administration's weekly average posted its fourth big weekly decline in a row.


The EIA's weekly average for Aug. 11 was $4.353, down almost 15 cents from last week. That number is 41 cents down from the high of $4.764 hit less than a month ago on July 14. It's the lowest the average has been since mid-May.

Fuel is still $1.506 higher than it was a year ago.

The highest average prices were found in the New England region at $4.584; the lowest in the Midwest at $4.267.
