The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has reopened the comment period for its 2004 emissions proposal.
The proposed new standards for heavy duty vehicles and engines appeared in the Federal Register October 29 with a December 2 deadline for comments. After several requests for more time, the agency has extended the comment period to December 16.
