Seattle's Independent Port Drivers Get More Time to Buy Clean Trucks

The Ports of Seattle and Tacoma in Washington reached a compromise with independent truckers who threatened a walk-out over a program that would ban trucks that don’t meet 2007 emissions standards from the ports.

Pilot Project at Port of Seattle to Demonstrate Diesel-to-Natural Gas Engine Conversion

Omnitek Engineering has been selected by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency for a pilot project to demonstrate its diesel-to-natural gas engine conversion technology for drayage trucks serving the Port of Seattle, Wash., in support of the Port's Clean Truck Program.
