Waste Management to Build Renewable Natural Gas Facility

Waste Management announced it is building a facility that will create pipeline-ready natural gas from its Milam Landfill in Fairmont City, Ill. The processed renewable natural gas will be injected into the pipelines of Ameren Illinois for withdrawal at other locations, including some Waste Management facilities.

Trillium Building CNG station in Kirkwood, N.Y.

Trillium CNG, a business unit of Integrys Energy Group Inc., will build a new high-volume, fast-fill compressed natural gas public access station in Kirkwood, N.Y., to meet the fueling needs of Willow Run Foods Inc., a regional foodservice supplier and other local fleets.

Santa Clara County to Construct CNG Fueling Station & Convert Fleet

Santa Clara County in California will construct a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at the fleet management facility in San Jose and has plans to convert 25% of its vehicles to CNG within 10 years.

Columbus to Place 18 CNG Automated Side Loaders Into Service by End of 2013

The City of Columbus will have a total of 64 CNG units in service in total by year-end 2013. Out of that number, 18 will be CNG automated side loaders.

The City of Columbus, Ohio, plans to place an additional 44 dedicated CNG units into service by the end of 2013. Columbus is also currently building a second CNG fueling site located on the north side of the city.
