A new fast-fill compressed natural gas station located at 2920 Silver Star Road in Orlando has recently opened its doors. The station is located at Lewis Petroleum’s Silver Star Fuelman in the Princeton Industrial Park, just two blocks from Frito-Lay North America’s Orlando plant.

Average prices for diesel exhaust fluid in both the U.S. and Canada increased for the second consecutive month, after declining steadily over the last six months, according to new figures from the group Integer Research.

ACT Research Co. has released online fuel payback calculators that can help companies make the best fuel choices for their applications. The calculators, which are available at no charge at ACT’s website, allow fleets to easily calculate the diesel gallon equivalent of CNG or LNG at the pump as the commodity cost of natural gas changes.

FPInnovations’ Performance Innovation Transport (PIT) group now offers a technology certification program that allows consumers to identify the fuel efficiency value of almost any fuel-saving technology.
The nation’s largest group of truckers is speaking out against President Obama’s Tuesday announcement ordering federal regulators to increase fuel efficiency and greenhouse gas standards for trucks beyond the 2018 model year. Others say the plan will pay dividends in the trucking industry.

The average cost of diesel has moved higher for the fourth consecutive week, according to new figures released Tuesday by the U.S. Energy Department, while gasoline prices have also picked up and oil hit a high for the year.
Cummins and Peterbilt announced Tuesday their latest version of their SuperTruck demonstration tractor-trailer achieved 10.7 mpg last month under real-world driving conditions.

Plaintiffs' lawyers in "hot fuel” litigation have voluntarily dismissed the remaining cases against defendants in Kansas City, Kan., according to published reports.
