XRS has added new trip management, form editing, IFTA fuel tax reporting and other features to its mobile fleet management management platform designed to improve compliance readiness and overall fleet and operational performance monitoring.

Included in the new release is a new feature called XRS Trip Management that includes trip-based workflow and reporting functions for regular-route carriers. XRS Trip can import routes from third-party routing packages, create routes from scratch and compares planned routes against the route actually taken.

Upgrades to the IFTA reporting function includes what the company calls a “print, sign, send service” for 45 of 48 U.S. IFTA reporting states and all Canadian provinces, which reduces paperwork on the fleet side while streamlining the process.

Enhancements to XRS’s FLX Forms application makes developing forms easier, the company said. Other improvements to the fleet managment platform include additional French and Spanish language support in mobile interfaces, faster overall performance, an enhanced driver payroll report, a driver log web service and improvements to over-speed event alert formatting.
