DashHaul.com, a Chicago-based tech company, has created a “VLMA” (Virtual Logistics Management Application) designed to automate and simplify operations for full truckload shippers and carriers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The application’s technology automatically matches a user’s shipment to a list of available carriers in real-time. DashHaulallows users to complete every operation involved in the full truckload shipping process online, without ever having to pick up the phone or send an email. The online marketplace will also contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint the logistics industry leaves on the environment by reducing the number of “empty miles” carriers have to travel. In addition, DashHaul has implemented an Environmental Pioneer Program, which places a priority on trucks that utilize compressed natural gas and other environmental saving practices.

DashHaul.com is set to launch by the end of January 2014.
