HDT will be hosting the Heavy Duty Trucking eXchange, an intimate event that pairs a select group of  top innovators in the Class 8 market together with the suppliers that help them move more than 10 billion tons of freight across the country every year, giving them an intimate environment in which to engage in discussions on topics that affect the entire industry.

The setting is an all-inclusive, networking retreat designed to accelerate the achievement of each participant's unique business goals. The hosted buyer event, which will be held from May 8-10, 2017, at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz., will focus on fleets consisting of light and medium-duty trucks and vans.

Hosted buyer events, a concept imported from the European business market more than a decade ago, create an informal setting in which qualified buyers, or those with the decision-making responsibilities at a fleet, are paired with companies that are attuned to their specific industry.

The guests must go through a qualification process that guarantees they are a perfect match for the vendors and suppliers also in attendance. Selected guests receive hosted travel to participate in the event. The event consists of roundtable discussions, small audience presentations and one-on-one meetings between the buyers and the companies that serve them.

Heavy Duty Trucking and Bobit Business Media have an established relationship with fleet professionals and the companies that serve them. This enables them to have a deep-rooted understanding of the industry and the issues it faces, as well as the solutions that can best fit a fleet’s needs. Together they have crafted an event where industry thought leaders have the opportunity to explore the essential components of creating and maintaining efficient and effective truck fleets.

Commercial fleet managers can apply for participation by clicking here. For more information on becoming a supplier host for the upcoming Work Truck Exchange, visit the site www.HeavyDutyTruckingeXchange.com or call David Moniz at 330-899-2200, or email him at [email protected].
