Cloud-based supply chain solutions company FourKites has hired Craig Fiander as its senior vice president of business development.
Fiander was most recently the vice president of strategic alliances for the enterprise solutions wing of ALK Technologies. While there he led channel strategy and maintained global relationships with logistics software providers like JDA, Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, McLeod, MercuryGate, Descartes, Skybitz and TMW Systems.
"With so many technology startups in the transportation and logistics industry, it's been very impressive to see the adoption of FourKites' solution by a significant number of large shippers and logistics services providers," said Fiander.
Fiander was with ALK for over 20 years, holding various product management and marketing positions. While at ALK, he led the branding of PC*Miler routing, mileage and mapping software and was responsible for the integration and adoption of PC*Miler and ALK Maps.
"Craig’s industry experience and deep relationships makes him the perfect fit to help lead FourKites’ strategic business initiatives,” said Dave Walker, chief revenue officer of FourKites. “There is no one better than him to execute our vision of making FourKites the industry standard when it comes to carrier connectivity.”
