A former Knight Transportation truck driver killed one man and injured two others before committing suicide at a Knight facility in Katy, Texas, according to a Click2Houston report.

Armed with a shotgun and a pistol, the shooter, who was identified as ex-Knight employee Marion Guy Williams, walked into the facility and shot and killed his former supervisor Mike Dawid before shooting himself. Williams had been fired two weeks prior to the shooting and the the incident is being investigated as an act of workplace violence.

According to reports, Williams was focused on finding Dawid, ignoring others as he searched the facility for him. The two others who were injured in the attack were hit by shrapnel from the shotgun blasts and were not seriously hurt.

The 34-year-old Dawid is survived by his wife Ellie and two-year old son.

Knight Transportation confirmed the incident in a statement and has deployed counselors on-site to support its employees. Operations at the facility were suspended until an investigation was completed.

“We are grateful for all of the thoughts and kind words expressed during this very difficult time,” the company said in a release. “Our hearts are heavy today. Please keep the family in your prayers.”

A GoFundMe page was set up for donations to support the Dawid family.
