McLeod Software’s fleet management platform LoadMaster will now connect with the Teletrac Fleet Director hours of service platform as part of a partnership between the two companies.

The integration will allow fleet managers to quickly review drivers’ HOS statuses and create federally compliant loads assignments. The Teletrac McLeod HOS partnership connects two software features fleet managers use on a daily basis, according to McLeod. The first is the HOS Manager portal, where dispatchers can view HOS driver log summaries sent from vehicles' in-cab displays. The second is individual HOS statuses, which users can now cross-reference with job delivery times.

With the final rule on electronic logs recently published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the two companies see the partnership as a way to help keep businesses stay compliant with government regulations.

"This partnership helps businesses run a tight ship, generating larger profits while keeping their drivers in compliance," said Marco Encinas, marketing and product management of global platform, Teletrac. "A federally compliant fleet is able to understand how to run its business to best serve customers."

McLeod Software is a provider of transportation dispatch, accounting, operations and brokerage management software and document management systems. Teletrac is a California-based GPS tracking and fleet management provider.
