Knight Orders Silver VNL Trucks for 25th Anniversary

Knight Transportation has selected Volvo Trucks to supply 38 specially decorated Volvo VNL 670 models to recognize the company’s 25th anniversary.

The VNLs will feature a silver finish with a unique decal instead of the standard red and charcoal gray color scheme Knight Transportation and Knight Refrigerated usually operate. The trucks will have a silver finish in honor of the company’s silver anniversary.

“With this being our silver anniversary, we wanted drivers to participate in the celebration with special trucks,” said Dave Williams, Knight’s vice president of equipment.

Volvo and Knight Transportation have a long-standing relationship dating back to 1996. The company currently operates about 1,800 Volvo trucks in its fleet of around 4,800.

Knight assigned the anniversary trucks to terminals throughout the U.S.
