Bloom will shift into a different role where he will "be used on a number of international assignments" for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), according to Marc Llistosella, head of Daimler Trucks Asia and president and CEO of MFTBC.

"At the same time, MFTA will benefit from the strong, process-focused and fresh, objective viewpoint brought to its leadership by Jecka Glasman," said Llistosella. "Together, we will continue to work to build the North American market and establish the FUSO brand as a major player in the medium-duty truck segment."

Glasman joined MFTBC in November 2014 and has served as MFTA's business development director, where, in addition to her normal duties, she has been able to work alongside Bloom to help ensure a smooth transition in leadership and continuity of a strategic approach to the market.

"I’m looking forward to growing the Fuso business in the U.S. and Canada," Glasman said. "I would like to thank Todd Bloom for his leadership and commitment in driving the company forward."

Prior to joining the company, Glasman served as senior vice president for Comverse Inc., a telecommunications company. During her 12-year tenure, she managed large-scale global operations, and held various management positions in sales, customer service, and business operations.

Bloom has served in his role since July 1, 2010.

"Our customers are some of the most loyal in the industry and our dealer network has remained committed to exceeding customer needs, especially given the turbulent economy we've all lived through for the past several years," Bloom said. "I’m looking forward to new opportunities with FUSO globally and I wish Jecka well as she charts a course for even greater success in the years ahead."
