Southeastern Freight Lines is expanding its regional LTL business, opening four new services centers, three in Kentucky and one in Ohio, in response to growing customer need, the company announced. The new locations are scheduled to open and begin operation on March 2, 2015.

Southeastern’s new service centers are located in Lexington, Louisville and Bowling Green in Kentucky and a fourth location is in Cincinnati, Ohio. The new facilities will employ more than 40 associates including pick-up and delivery drivers and service center managers.

The Lexington service center features 24 dock doors, the Louisville location has 48 dock doors, the Bowling Green location has 22 dock doors and the Cincinnati location features 40 dock doors.

“Expanding into Kentucky is a natural extension of Southeastern’s footprint,” said Mike Heaton, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Southeastern. “Having served in local markets across the Sun Belt with best-in-class performance for many years, we look forward to expanding the quality customer service we’re known for throughout the region.”
