Rush Trucking, Wayne, Mich., brought in Gregory Humes to be the company's interim CEO, the company announced. Humes is a 30-year logistics and supply chain veteran who previously headed the creation of Driving for America, a logistics staffing school.

“We are fortunate to welcome a seasoned executive with Greg’s experience and knowledge to help move Rush Trucking to the next level,” said Andra M. Rush, founder of the Rush Group Family of Companies and former CEO of Rush Trucking.

Rush Trucking offers truckload and milk-run transportation for shorthaul, long-haul and just-in-time operations with facilities in 16 states and Canada.

Humes held senior executive roles at several major corporations, including Landstar Supply Chain Solutions, National Logistics Management, Vector SCM and Penske Logistics Global Automotive.
