The Kenan Advantage Group said Monday Bruce Stockton has joined the company as vice president of fleet services.

In his new role, Stockton will be responsible for the strategic oversight and alignment of KAG’s fleet services to include approximately 6,200 power units and 9,700 trailers. He is also responsible for equipment and parts procurement, building and property acquisition, and general and environmental maintenance.

Prior to joining KAG, Stockton held various senior management roles with CFI/Con-way Truckload from 1985 to 2011, with the most recent role being vice president of maintenance and asset management. He also served as president and CEO of Stockton Solutions, providing consulting services to the transportation industry in the areas of operations, fleet maintenance, asset management, safety compliance and risk management.

Stockton is a member of the American Trucking Associations, where he serves on the Technology and Maintenance Council; the North American Council for Freight Efficiency, serving on the Technical Advisory Committee; the Truckload Carriers Association; and the Missouri and Arkansas Trucking Associations.

He graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a degree in business administration.
