The parent company to Bolt Express and Strike Logistics, Bolt Holdings, has purchased the truckload operation DSE Services, based in Daleville, Ind.

Terms of the deal were not released.

The Ohio-based Bolt said the purchase will complement its current ground expedite and air services offerings, along with its third party logistics and freight brokerage operations, while it was attracted to DSE’s services, culture and capacity.

“Our immediate priority during the integration phase is to ensure a positive experience for our new team members and customers,” said Guy Sanderson, CEO of Bolt Holdings. “We will then shift our focus to an aggressive growth plan that is consistent with each of our transportation companies.”

DSE provides both short haul and long haul services and will remain an independent business. It also provides a wide range of truck and trailer repair services, including 24-hour emergency roadside assistance and a fully stocked parts department for over the counter parts.
