Phillips Industries has hired Dave Lajeunesse as director of engineering. He will be responsible for all Phillips engineering protocol, research and development and customer relationships. 

He has extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry developing and executing projects for manufacturing and equipment processes as well as product development.

Lajeunesse’s background includes an overseas assignment in Japan where he developed expertise in continuous improvement processes using lean manufacturing and lean engineering strategies based on Toyota/World Class systems.

Immediately prior to joining Phillips, Lajeunesse was director, advanced manufacturing engineering and engineering services for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems. Previous positions with Delphi Corporation, Packard Electric, where he spent twenty plus years, included an Ex-Patriate assignment as Japan Engineering Manager in Tokyo.
