Schneider announced it is raising owner-operator pay rates in its bulk division. The contractual compensation increase is effective March 3; most owner-operators will earn an additional 10 1/2 cents per mile, both loaded and unloaded.

In addition, Schneider Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary and Schneider’s truck leasing and sales arm, has immediate inventory of tractors spec’d for new and existing tanker owner-operators.

Schneider’s tanker division is growing its chemical transportation business, adding 60 owner-operators as well as company drivers to keep up with customer demand.
