New figures from the Public Border Operators Association show total vehicles visiting the 11 tolled border crossing between the United States and Canada fell in August compared to the same time a year ago.

Truck crossings fell 2.7% during the month form July, while it is down 4% for the first eight months of the year compared to the same period in 2012. Four-wheeler traffic was down in both periods, but not as much.
