Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. increased its presence in Billings, Mont., moving to a larger facility.

With more than twice the number of doors as the previous location, the 62-door Billings Service Center will help Old Dominion keep up with its growing network of customers in the region. The terminal has more than 60 employees.

Billings is an important location for Old Dominion due to its proximity to Interstate 90 and Interstate 94, which both serve as major east-west connectors of freight for the northern part of the United States.

The terminal’s coverage area includes seven Montana cities (Billings, Hardin, Roundup, Harlowton, Big Timber, Red Lodge and Columbus) and six Wyoming cities (Cody, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland, Buffalo and Sheridan).
