The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists is conducting a two-day Shop Safety Clinic covering Department of Labor postings, Environmental Protection Agency requirements and Occupational Safety and Hazard Agency regulations that affect truck repair shops.


The clinic is scheduled for April 24-25 at at the Country Inn & Suites, 6200 South 13th Street, Milwaukee, Wis.

Topics covered include:

- Shop accidents not covered by Workers Compensation Insurance or by your General Liability policy if they are determined to be an OSHA violation

- Everyday chemicals you use in your shop may be considered hazardous by the EPA.

- DOL-required postings for your employees to assure they know their rights.

Nancy Hodges, of National Spring in Milwaukee, will host the clinic, and speakers will cover as many topics as time allows. The clinic only has 36 spots, and the cost is $150 for ACOFAS members, $200 for members of SSA, NTHECC, HDDA, or CVSN and $300 per person for all others.
